La Grange is a little cottage in the heart of a village called Montresor, in the French countryside.
Surrounded by the Loire Valley Castles and delicious French wine, this home will be an ideal base for you to explore French real life. This romantic house with perfect views is in the middle of lovely walks either in forests or in Montresor, the village.
The kitchen and living area on the ground floor has sumptuous views on the castle from its large window. A door leads to a terrace with great views on the village, the castle, the river and the countryside. On the top floor is a bedroom with beautiful views on the village. Our medieval style bathroom gives you the possibility of relaxing in a bubble bath while looking at the beautiful views. La grange is ideal for a couple and can accommodate up to 4 people, two on the top floor and two in the living area.
This beautiful village is situated in the heart of the Loire Valley Castles. The cottage has beautiful and relaxing walks along the river and in the village. Indulge yourself to the award winning Macarons at the local bakery, or simply have a nice cafe and meet the locals at the cafe down the road.
If you are planning a trip to France this could be the ideal place to visit. The castles of the Loire Valley all have very interesting history with Kings and Queens living in this part of France. The village, Montresor, has been voted as one of the “most beautiful villages in France”. Strolls in the little streets of the village are very relaxing and the cafe serves delicious food. Nearby a town called Loches has an impressive donjon and castle and the town located 20 kilometers from Montresor has many restaurant including fine dining. You can shop in Loches as you will not only find wide supermarkets and little shops but there is also an exciting markets every morning!
A little further, about 40 kilometers from Montresor, is a big town called Tours. With its beautiful castle, cathedral and exciting shops, you can easily spend a full day strolling around and making the most of French shopping. A few castles you can visit in the Montresor area include Valencay, Chambord, Azay-le-Rideau, and Chenonceau, all these Chateaux are within 40 kilometers from the cottage.
After a day full of adventure, wine tasting, shopping and visits, you will be delighted to rest on the terrace of your cottage and relax enjoying the beautiful views on the countryside and the Chateau de Montresor.
